Jo Stone

Jo Stone currently serves as the GM External Budgets and Costing at the Department of Industry, Science and Resources since November 2024. Previously, Jo held the position of Chief Financial Officer at the Bureau of Meteorology from April 2022 to November 2024 and Chief Operating Officer at the Australian Financial Security Authority between January 2018 and June 2022. Jo has also served in various leadership roles such as Chief Financial Officer at the Clean Energy Regulator, the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman, and the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority. Additionally, Jo has experience as Director of Financial Reporting and Treasury at the Department of Health and Ageing and worked as a Management Accountant at ASX and International Clothing Designs. Jo's education includes credentials from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
