Cherise Donovan

Cherise Donovan is an experienced professional in the field of community services and justice sector management, currently serving as the Acting General Manager for Community Services at the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria. Since December 2014, Cherise has held various senior roles, including Practice Lead for Drug Court Case Management and Officer in Charge of the Dandenong Drug Court, managing large teams and overseeing complex case management processes. With a strong background in education and training, Cherise has developed and delivered numerous programs aimed at reducing re-offending and supporting justice clients' pathways to employment and education. Cherise's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice & Psychological Studies from Monash University and several qualifications in training, assessment, and correctional practices.
