Leela Gray

Leela Gray currently serves as a Policy Officer for Aboriginal Youth Justice at the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria, focusing on the implementation of the Wirkara Kulpa strategy aimed at reducing the overrepresentation of Aboriginal youth in the justice system. In addition, Leela is a Youth Advisor at the Centre for Multicultural Youth, contributing to program development and advocacy for multicultural youth perspectives. Previous experience includes a competitive internship at the Institute of Non-Violence, where Leela engaged with issues related to family, domestic, and sexual violence. Leela is pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Policy at the University of Melbourne, following a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Indigenous Studies from the same institution.
