Claude Bernard

Claude Bernard has extensive experience in legal management within the Department of Justice Canada, holding the position of Regional Manager and Senior Counsel since May 2007, overseeing legal professionals in litigation, extradition, and legal assistance. Additionally, Claude served as Interim Director of the Tax Directorate, managing a team to support Canada's tax system integrity for the Canada Revenue Agency in Quebec. Prior roles included managing human, financial, and administrative resources for Citizenship and Immigration Canada and the Canada Border Services Agency. Claude's legal career began in August 1995, providing counsel to the Canada Revenue Agency on tax collection issues. Academic qualifications include an MBA from HEC Montréal (2004-2007) and an LL.B. from Université de Montréal (1991-1994).
