Dr Kerry King

Dr. Kerry King is an experienced policy and research professional currently serving in the Policy and Intergovernmental sector at the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Tasmania since April 2021. Prior roles include positions as an Adjunct Research Fellow and Research Fellow at Griffith University's Criminology Institute from March 2015 to May 2023, as well as Acting Manager and Senior Policy & Investigations Officer at the Corruption and Crime Commission in Western Australia between 2012 and 2014. Academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Western Australia, conferred in 2015, and participation in an honours program at Murdoch University focusing on legal issues related to incest in Western Australia. Additional experience includes work as a Senior Policy Officer at the Department of Aboriginal Affairs and a Senior Research Officer at the National Native Title Tribunal.
