Lance Sgro

Lance Sgro has extensive leadership experience in regulatory and governance roles within various departments in Western Australia. Currently serving as Director Investigations and Assessment, Director Licensing and Industry Services, and Director Industry Regulation and Education at the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Lance leads efforts addressing non-compliance within the Liquor and Gambling sectors. Prior experience includes holding the position of Director Corporate Governance and overseeing essential services at the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor. Additionally, Lance has led the Gambling division in compliance and licensing services and managed the regulatory enforcement program at the Department of Agriculture and Food. Lance holds a Diploma in Project Management from WA TAFE, an Advanced Diploma in Criminal Intelligence Analysis from WA Police, and a Certificate of Secondary Education from Aquinas College.
