Demme Durrett

Demme Durrett has extensive experience in global events coordination and public diplomacy, primarily with the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, where significant roles included planning and hosting high-level events, managing schedules and logistics for senior officials, and drafting technical memos on UN procedures. As the founder and director of Youth for Human Rights-USA, Durrett mobilized youth activism and significantly raised awareness of human rights issues. Additional roles in various organizations encompassed strategic advising, fundraising, and event programming, complemented by a robust educational background that includes a Master of Public Diplomacy from USC Annenberg School and Bachelor's degrees in American Studies and Human Rights from Barnard College and Columbia University.
