Jamila Espinosa

Jamila Espinosa possesses extensive experience in education and cultural exchange, currently serving as an English Teaching Assistant at the U.S. Department of State since October 2016, where responsibilities include teaching English and acting as a cultural ambassador. Jamila previously held positions as a Recreation Coordinator for a summer English-teaching program at UC Berkeley, a law fellow at UCLA School of Law, and Senior Class President at Pomona College, demonstrating leadership and engagement in various academic and community settings. Additional roles include serving as a Resident Advisor, conducting sociological research, and assisting in the Romance Languages Department at Pomona College. Jamila holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Latin American Studies from Pomona College.
