Laila Sholtz-Ames is a skilled Communications and Marketing Specialist at Local Concept, focusing on translation projects for E-Learning companies and managing social media strategies. Currently serving as an Academic Coach at TaskHuman, Laila assists students of all ages with academic writing and ESL. As a podcast host and writer for “Facing Race,” Laila engages with social and political issues affecting BIPOC communities. Previous experiences include serving as a College Counselor and Essay Editor at AMERICAN STUDY, a Humanities Teacher and College Counselor at Colegio Liceo Europeo, and an ESL teacher at Eurocolegio Casvi. Laila holds a Master's in Teaching, Bilingual and Multilingual Education from the University of Alcalá, and a Bachelor's in Journalism and History from the University of Maine, further enhanced by studies at Peking University.
