Nathaniel Rettenmayer

Nathaniel Rettenmayer is a seasoned Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State, currently serving as the Director of the Office of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs since August 2023. Prior to this role, Nathaniel held positions as a GWS Senior Operations Analyst at Johnson Controls and as a Commercial Specialist Assistant in Singapore with the U.S. Commercial Service. Nathaniel's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Global Affairs and Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Towson University, and a diploma from Calvert Hall College High School. Additionally, Nathaniel has international education experience from Kansai University and The American School in London.
