Oliver Mertz

Oliver Mertz is a design professional with extensive experience in multimedia production and team management. As the Design Lead at the U.S. Department of State since March 2015, Oliver manages a team of 10 visual specialists, overseeing creative direction and workflow development. Prior roles include Senior Multimedia Analyst at Primescape Solutions, Video Producer for ABBTECH, and Freelance Editor for National Geographic, where contributions focused on environmental videos tied to a National Science Foundation Grant. Earlier in the career, Oliver gained significant experience as a Video Producer for Citadel Broadcasting, creating content for online platforms. Oliver holds a BA in Film and Media Arts from American University.
