Tanya Kabel-Ballard

Tanya Kabel-Ballard is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Performance Reporting and Evaluation at the U.S. Department of State since September 2021. Prior to this role, Tanya held various positions at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, including Senior Portfolio Manager, where responsibility included the implementation of the PPBE/A process and managing a $7 billion Border Security portfolio. Additionally, Tanya worked as Branch Chief for the Strategy and Planning Branch, coordinating strategic efforts across the agency. Previous experience also includes roles at the United States Department of the Army, such as Deputy of the Leader Development Division and Operations Program Analyst. Tanya's background encompasses leadership in military education and operations, supported by a Master of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History and American Studies.
