Trygve Has-Ellison

Trygve Has-Ellison is currently the Fraud Chief at the U.S. Department of State, leading the largest Fraud Investigations Unit overseas since July 2021. As a co-owner of Cole-Has LLC and She's in Records, Trygve administers rights and royalties for an indie label. Previous positions include serving as an International Affairs Advisor (POLAD) for the United States Southern Command, and Deputy NIV Chief at the U.S. Department of State. Trygve has extensive experience in various diplomatic roles, including Vice-Consul for Non-Immigrant Visa and American Citizen Services in Sao Paulo, and as an Inter-Functional Officer for Congressional Affairs in the European Bureau. An academic background includes lecturing in German, European, and World history at the University of Texas at Dallas, and conducting research as a visiting fellow at Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg. Educational credentials feature a PhD in German History from the University of Memphis, alongside other degrees in history and political science.
