Vidura Bandara Wijekoon

Vidura Bandara Wijekoon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, artificial intelligence, and electrical engineering. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Trinet Innovations, Vidura also holds positions as Head of Data Science at OptimumAI and Professional Fellow at the U.S. Department of State. Additionally, Vidura has taken on roles at Omdena, including AI and Electrical Engineer and Chapter Lead for Omdena Sri Lanka, promoting AI for social good. With a background in leadership roles such as Chairman of the IEEE IAS Ruhuna Student Chapter and Temporary Student Instructor at the University of Ruhuna, Vidura combines technical expertise with a commitment to education and mentorship. A dedicated learner, Vidura holds degrees in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Ruhuna and has completed various certifications in business fundamentals.
