Dale Albert Bond is an experienced professional in the field of energy and mineral development, currently serving as the Division Chief for the Division of Energy and Mineral Development at the U.S. Department of the Interior since January 2023. With a career spanning over two decades, Bond has held various significant positions within the U.S. Department of the Interior, including BIA Branch Chief at the Bureau of Indian Affairs' Indian Energy Service Center, where responsibilities included overseeing realty and leasing support for energy and mineral development on Indian lands. Previous roles also included enforcement functions at the Office of Natural Resources Revenue and leadership within the Federal Indian Minerals Office. Prior to federal service, Bond worked as a hydrologist and scientist in environmental assessments, as well as serving as an avionics technician in the United States Air Force. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Watershed Science from Colorado State University and an Associate of Science in Avionics System Science from the Community College of the Air Force.
