Jaimie Gillespie

Jaimie Gillespie is an experienced emergency management and firefighting professional, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department while also fulfilling roles as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT and Senior Emergency Management Specialist at the U.S. Department of the Interior. With a background in emergency management at various agencies, including the U.S. Geological Survey and VA-TF1/USA-1 Urban Search & Rescue, Jaimie has developed strong skills in coordination, information management, and operational oversight during emergencies. Jaimie's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University, complemented by prior studies in 20th Century European History and Politics.
