Kayla Blades

Kayla Blades is a seasoned professional in grants management and program coordination, currently serving as a Grants Management Officer at the U.S. Department of the Interior since August 2023. Prior experience includes a Lead Grants Management Officer role at the Bureau of Land Management and various positions at the University of Idaho from May 2019 to July 2023, including Grants Services Manager and Program Coordinator for Project ECHO. Kayla has also worked as a Program Officer at the Corporation for National and Community Service, managing a portfolio of AmeriCorps projects, and has served with AmeriCorps VISTA, where significant fundraising and volunteer recruitment accomplishments were achieved. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Human Services, and Sociology from Upper Iowa University.
