Maggie Thompson

Maggie Thompson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public service and political campaigns. Currently serving as the Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Fish and Wildlife and Parks at the U.S. Department of the Interior since January 2021, Maggie also held the role of White House Liaison. Previously, Maggie was the State Advisor and Chief of Staff at Biden for President and participated as a member of the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force focused on education. Additional experience includes serving as the North Carolina State Director for Warren for President and Executive Director at Generation Progress. Maggie has worked in various capacities for the Center for American Progress, Common Purpose Project, and the Executive Office of the President. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Classical Archaeology from Macalester College.
