Timothy Hansen

Timothy Hansen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in appraisal and valuation services, currently serving as the Director of the Office of Appraisal and Valuation Services at the U.S. Department of the Interior since June 2009, after holding various positions including Chief Appraiser and Supervisory Appraiser. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Review Appraiser at the US Forest Service and Review Appraiser at the Bureau of Land Management. Additionally, Timothy has a military background with 12 years of service in the Army National Guard and has worked in several technical and appraisal roles, including wildlife technician and laboratory technician. Timothy holds a Master of Public Administration in Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming, a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Conservation and Management from the University of Wyoming.
