Karthik Rajendran has extensive work experience in mechanical engineering and project management.
Karthik is currently working at Department 13 | Drone Technology, where they hold the position of Hardware Team Lead. Prior to this, they worked at Baraja as a Mechanical Component Engineer.
From 2017 to 2020, Karthik worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Memjet Technology, where they were involved in the design and development of printhead production equipment and test platforms. Karthik also worked on projects in Australia and Taiwan, managing activities related to product design and development.
Before that, they worked briefly as a Mechanical Engineer at Alstom in 2017, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Memjet Technology from 2015 to 2017.
Prior to joining Memjet Technology, Karthik worked at UGL Rail as a Mechanical Engineer, where they were responsible for the design, development, and testing of locomotive subsystems.
In 2008, they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at ASM, leading a team in the design and development of wafer aligners. Karthik also worked as a Senior Design Engineer at LASERTEK (Singapore) Pte Ltd, specializing in the design and development of laser trimmer systems.
Karthik started their career as an R&D Engineer at TVS Electronics Ltd in 2002, where they gained experience in research and development.
Karthik Rajendran pursued their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from 1998 to 2002 at SRM Engineering College. Later, they obtained a Master's Degree in Mechatronics from the National University of Singapore from 2005 to 2007.
