Kelly Tzoumis is a Professor Emeritus at DePaul University, with a teaching career beginning in June 1999, recognized for contributions to virtual reality teaching and awarded the DePaul Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Advisor of the Year in 2016. As Chair of the Department of Public Policy Studies, Kelly has led field trips to national parks and conducted significant research on their preservation. Experience includes roles as Peer Reviewer and Team Lead for the Higher Learning Commission, Visiting Scholar at Metropolitan College of Athens and Politecnico di Torino, Co-Editor of Environmental Practice with Cambridge University Press, and Distinguished Chair of Environmental Studies with the Fulbright Commission. Kelly has held various environmental and policy-related positions within the U.S. government, and possesses academic degrees from Texas A&M University, Iowa State University (MPA), and Iowa State University (B.S.).
