Director Of Instructional Technology, Center For Teaching And Learning at DePaul University

Melissa Koenig serves as the Director of Instructional Technology at DePaul University’s Center for Teaching and Learning since August 2002. With extensive experience in educational technology, Koenig has successfully built strategic partnerships to address technology challenges and enhance institutional services, notably overseeing significant system migrations such as the transition from Blackboard to D2L and from Ooyala to Panopto. Previous roles include Associate Director of Faculty Instructional Technology Services and Instructional Designer, where Koenig focused on course development and instructional design. In addition to work at DePaul, Koenig teaches as an Adjunct Instructor at both the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences and the School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Earlier, Koenig served as Coordinator of Library Instruction at the University of Illinois at Chicago, emphasizing information literacy programs. Koenig holds an MSLIS from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an AB in Psychology from Kenyon College.
