Nate Axdorff

Nate Axdorff currently serves as a Horticulturist at a l l u v i u m, focusing on private gardens and natural areas in the Northwest suburbs of Chicagoland. In addition, Nate holds the position of Associate Director of Student Employment at DePaul University, managing on-campus employment practices and providing guidance to student employee managers. Past experiences include roles as Adjunct Faculty in Career & Life Design, Assistant Director of Employer Engagement, and Assistant Director Career Specialist at DePaul University, and as Assistant Director of Career Education at Michigan Technological University. A commitment to career development is evident through Nate’s work as an ESL Career Coach at Grand Rapids Community College and various positions in educational settings, including teaching English as a Secondary Language in Ecuador with the Peace Corps. Nate's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Hope College, complemented by a current Certificate in Sustainable Landscapes from the College of DuPage.
