Colleen Doçi

Colleen Doçi is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor of Biology at DePauw University since August 2023. Prior to this, Colleen held multiple roles at Marian University Indianapolis, including Associate Professor and Director of Research for the College of Health Professions, earning tenure through outstanding contributions in teaching, scholarship, and service. Colleen has revitalized undergraduate programs and led the Institutional Biosafety Committee, significantly improving biosafety compliance. A former Postdoctoral Research Associate at the National Institutes of Health, Colleen's research focused on extracellular matrix signaling in cancer and wound healing. Colleen completed a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology at the University of Chicago and has mentored students while engaging in various educational and research initiatives throughout an extensive academic career.
