Matt Mooney

Matt Mooney has held a variety of positions in the medical technology industry since 1988. Matt began their career at Hewlett-Packard as a Transducer Engineer, where they were the Contrast Agent Investigator and Project Leader for Endocavity Transducer. In 1999, they moved to Agilent Technologies as a Project Manager. In 2001, they joined Philips Medical Systems as the Director of Ultrasound Platform Development, where they were responsible for a portfolio of 4 new product platforms. Matt was then promoted to Director of System Development and Sr Manager of Project Development. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at Medtronic as the Director of Engineering, where they tripled the world-wide technical and management staff. In 2019, they started their own consulting business, Matt Mooney Consulting. Most recently, they have been the Chief Operating Officer of Dephy, Inc., a robotics design firm, since 2020.

Matt Mooney holds a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
