Ben Bedwell

Ben Bedwell is an experienced professional with a strong background in digital transformation and technology management. Currently serving as the Strategic Capability Manager at Derbyshire Constabulary since August 2020, Ben oversees the Digital, Data, and Technology department, driving impactful change and leading projects that enhance the organization's performance. Previous roles at Derbyshire Constabulary include Lead Business Analyst and Business Analyst, where Ben contributed to business change and technological improvements. Prior experience at the University of Nottingham, spanning over a decade, included positions as a Digital Research Specialist, Research Fellow, and Research Associate, focusing on integrating technology into cutting-edge research. Ben holds a PhD and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham.
