Johan Spijksma

Johan Spijksma is the Chief Legal Officer at Deribit since May 2024, bringing extensive legal and corporate experience from prior roles including Director Corporate at Dalpha Real Estate and Member of the Board of Directors at Dasym Asia Ltd, an investment company focused on media, technology, sports, and entertainment. Throughout a career that spans over a decade, Johan has also served as Director of Legal and Business Affairs and Executive Secretary at Dasym, as well as holding positions at Stibbe, including Senior Associate and Associate. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategy from INSEAD, an LLM in Private and Corporate Law from the University of Amsterdam, and a Drs./MSc in Business Administration from the University of Groningen.
