Boris Kayiranga

Boris Kayiranga has a diverse range of work experience. Boris started their career as an intern at DMM.HeBoris Ltd, where they worked on various company projects involving software engineering, product design, digital marketing, and software testing. Boris then became a Campus Ambassador for Progate, managing the Progate Developers Community at their university. After that, they worked as a Software Developer at Broaden Digital, followed by a role as a Mobile Engineer at Deriv. At Deriv, Boris was part of the Charts team and helped build an internal Flutter package for charts and trading indicators. Boris also integrated Deriv's core trading products into the Deriv Go app and implemented a new experience for the trading parameter flow. Boris then joined flaconi as a Senior Mobile Engineer, specializing in Flutter. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Kitchen Stories - Anyone can cook!.

Boris Kayiranga completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kigali, where they studied from 2018 to 2022. In addition to their degree, Boris has acquired several certifications, including "Accelerate Your Developer Career" and "Goal Setting: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)" from LinkedIn, obtained in March 2023. Boris also obtained the certification "Introduction to Docker: Build Your Own Portfolio Site" from Coursera in September 2020, and "The Complete Flutter Development Bootcamp" from the London App Brewery in February 2020.
