Christopher Maslanka, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Capital Markets and Assistant Treasurer at Deriva Energy since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as the Director of Structured Finance at Duke Energy Corporation from April 2022 to October 2023 and various positions within NextEra Energy Resources from November 2015 to April 2022, including Director of Renewable Finance, Manager of Finance, and Principal Financial Analyst. Christopher's earlier career features positions such as Senior Internal Auditor and Intermediate Internal Auditor at NextEra Energy, Senior Audit Associate at Deloitte, Senior Accountant at The Broad Institute, and Senior Investments Technical Accountant at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Education includes a Master of Science in Accounting from D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School.
