Jared Hortie, CPA, CA

Jared Hortie, CPA, CA has a wealth of experience in the field of finance. Jared began their career in 2008 as a Laboratory and Sequencing Technician at the Biodiversity Institute of Ontario. In 2011, they joined KPMG as a Staff Accountant and was promoted to Senior Accountant. In 2015, they moved to Unilever, where they served as Associate Finance Manager, Customer Development and Associate Finance Manager, Brand Building. In 2018, they joined Dermalogica as a Finance Project Manager. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed Head of Finance at Dermalogica Canada and also took on the role of Associate Finance Manager at Unilever.

Jared Hortie obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Guelph between 2004 and 2008, majoring in Molecular Biology and Genetics. Jared then went on to obtain a Masters of Management and Professional Accounting from the University of Toronto Mississauga between 2010 and 2012, specializing in Assurance and Accounting.
