Joan Stuart

Joan Stuart has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Joan began their career at GlaxoSmithKline in 1993 as an Associate Scientist/Research Scientist, eventually transitioning to the role of Medical Genetics Scientist. In 2007, they became a Clinical Development Scientist for the Muscle Metabolism Discovery Performance Unit and also took on the responsibility of managing human biological samples. At Stiefel, a GSK company, they served as a Business Operations Manager for North America Medical Affairs and later as a Clinical Development Scientist. Joan then joined GSK as a Program Manager, where they facilitated various global initiatives and managed projects related to training, website development, and process improvement. After that, they worked at PPD as an Associate Director for Global Project Management, overseeing cross-functional teams and ensuring timely and quality deliverables. Prior to their current role as Director of Clinical Operations at Dermavant Sciences, they held the position of Associate Director Clinical Operations. Throughout their career, Joan has consistently demonstrated strong project management skills and a focus on delivering quality results.

Joan Stuart holds a Master's degree in Microbiology from North Carolina State University.
