Tony Filippini

Tony Filippini, AICP, serves as the Planning & Development Manager for the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) since July 2019, leading planning and scheduling efforts for new service proposals. Previously, Filippini held roles as Senior Transit Planner at DART, Transportation Planner for the City of Ames, and Transit Planner for Des Moines Area Regional Transit, focusing on service optimization and data analysis. Additional experience includes working as Transportation Operations Coordinator and Senior Planner for the City of Tyler, and as a Transportation Aide at the Iowa Department of Transportation. Filippini holds a Master of Urban Design and a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University.
