Shawn Brown

Shawn Brown has a diverse and extensive work history in the field of IT. Shawn began their career as a Systems Administrator and Manufacturing Engineer at Bell Automotive Products, Inc. where they maintained networks and resolved on-site issues. Shawn then transitioned into the role of IT Manager, leading a team and implementing new technology for over 130 employees in five regions. After leaving Bell Automotive, they joined Bay Travelgear, Inc. as an IT Manager where they upgraded networks and implemented a Warehouse Management system. At Whitfield & Eddy, P.L.C., Shawn served as the IT Director, overseeing the IT operations of a large law firm and managing staff and attorney training. Currently, they hold the position of Director of IT at DMOS Orthopaedic Centers.

Shawn Brown pursued their education by obtaining an MBA degree with a focus on Information Technology from Drake University. Shawn attended Drake University from 1999 to 2001. Prior to this, they attended Iowa State University from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology. Alongside their major, they also minored in Computer Science and Math during their time at Iowa State University.
