Clyde Wheeler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Clyde currently holds the position of Chief Architect at Descartes Labs, where they support critical operations, drives innovation, and implements an AI strategy. Prior to this, Clyde worked as an Applied Science Manager and Applied Scientist at Descartes Labs. Clyde also has experience as a Satellite Imaging Specialist at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd and as a Graduate Research Assistant and Computer Science Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto. Early in their career, Clyde worked as a Radio Frequency Hardware Developer Co-op at Ericsson.
Clyde Wheeler obtained a Bachelor's of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Physics from Carleton University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's of Applied Science degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Toronto.
