Florent Divardjian

Chief Risk Officer at Descartes Underwriting

Florent Divardjian is the current Chief Risk Officer at Descartes Underwriting. Florent was previously a Manager at Milliman from December 2017 to November 2021. Prior to that, they were a Risk Manager at AXA Global Direct from August 2013 to December 2017 where they were in charge of managing FTE's, local risk managers overseas, ERM and capital optimization under Solvency II, leading AGD Internal Model Application, and communicating with Management Committee and Risk Committee presentations. Florent Divardjian has a vast amount of experience in the insurance field, specifically in digital insurance, catastrophe risk hedging, and financial engineering and pricing.

Divardjian is an engineer-statistician-economist who studied economics: energy and finance at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL and classes préparatoires - mathématiques supérieures / mathématiques spéciales at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève.

Florent Divardjian reports to Tanguy Touffut, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Arnaud Sorel - General Counsel, Joelle Leclerc - Communications Manager, and Chloé Duval - Finance & Operations Manager.
