Ann Malkin

Ann Malkin is the owner of Clarion Consulting LLC, providing technical writing, editing, and marketing services since September 2022. With extensive experience in the library sector, Ann serves on multiple boards within the Deschutes Public Library System, including the Library District Board of Directors and the Library Foundation Board. Additionally, Ann has been a board member of the State Library of Oregon since 2014, including a chair position from 2017 to 2021. Previous roles include Director of Communications at Bend Research Inc., and Director of Development for the Stanislaus County Library System, as well as contract technical editor and writer. Ann holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oregon, earned in 1974.
