Christian Schilter

Christian Schilter has been working in the software and media industry since 2007. Christian started their career as an Executive Manager, Project Manager, Head of Department TV Content, and Editor at Cinergy Deutschland GmbH from 2007 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer and Translator German-English, providing translation, proofing, editing, localization and other services related to high-quality translation of subtitles, marketing material, contracts, affidavits and other media-related content for movies, TV and special features material. In 2015, they joined Nuance Communications as a Language QA Consultant, delivering high quality QA in a key language for automotive clients. In 2016, they moved to Apple as an International Software Quality Engineer & Test Lead. In 2017, they returned to Nuance Communications as a Software Developer and Software QA German Language Consultant, determining test strategy in collaboration with developers and management. In 2019, they moved to Cerence Inc. as a Software Developer. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Descript as a QA Specialist.

Christian Schilter attended the University of Zurich from 2001 to 2008, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in both Media Science and Publizistik.
