Jessie Li

Jessie Li has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Jessie began their career as a Research Assistant at Central University of Finance and Economics in 2010. In 2012, they took on the role of Research Analyst at the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and End-User Research & Statistics Group Analyst at IDC. In 2014, they joined Google as a Quantitative Business Analyst, where they constructed classification models and conducted ad-hoc analysis. In 2015, they moved to Flipboard as a Data Insights Analyst / Product Manager. From 2017 to 2022, Jessie worked at Facebook as a Data Scientist and later as a Data Science Manager. Jessie is currently a Lead Product Data Scientist at Descript.

Jessie Li has a diverse educational background. Jessie obtained their Master's Degree in Statistics from Yale University. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from Central University of Finance and Economics. Jessie also participated in an exchange program at Uppsala University, where they studied Statistics and Literature. Additionally, they studied Statistics and American Studies during a study abroad program at University of California, Berkeley. Jessie also attended Hangzhou Foreign Languages School. Jessie holds a CFA Level I certification from CFA Institute.
