Samori Roberts, CQF, has a diverse range of work experience in the technology and education sectors. Samori currently works as a Software Engineer at Descript, starting in March 2023. Previously, they held the role of Lead Software Engineer at Codex DF from April 2022 to October 2022, where they contributed to the development of tax and compliance software and provided mentorship and direction.

Before that, Samori worked as a Software Engineer II at Microsoft from August 2018 to April 2022, specializing in front-end development and making individual contributions to high-visibility projects. Samori also served as an Instructor at iD Tech Camps during the summer of 2018.

In addition, they gained valuable experience as a Teacher's Assistant and Tutor for the Physics Department at Morehouse College from August 2016 to May 2018, and as a Software Engineering Intern at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in the summer of 2017. Samori also worked as an Energy Resources and Engineering Intern at Stanford University in the summer of 2016. Prior to that, Samori served as a Physics and Calculus Tutor at Morehouse NROTC from July 2015 to May 2016.

Samori Roberts completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Morehouse College from 2014 to 2018. In 2017, they also participated in a domestic exchange program at Stanford University, where they continued their studies in Physics. In 2022, they enrolled at the CQF Institute and pursued a Certification in Quantitative Finance, specializing in Financial Mathematics and Financial Engineering. Samori successfully completed the program in March 2023. In addition to their formal education, Samori has obtained several certifications, including a React (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank, a Social Media Marketing for Small Business certificate from LinkedIn, a UX Foundations: Interaction Design certificate from LinkedIn, an Applied Interaction Design: Onboarding Flow certificate from LinkedIn, and a Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship from Udacity.
