Amber Salazar

Amber Salazar serves as the Assistant Director of Event Services at Desert Botanical Garden, a position held since February 2011. In this role, Amber manages and inspires the Special Events and Facility Rental teams while overseeing the development of special events and private venue rentals. Previous positions at the Garden include Special Events Manager and Event Sales Manager, where responsibilities involved creating community attractions and managing revenue goals. Amber's early career includes an internship at Southwest Conference Planners and a role as Group Reservations Coordinator at Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass. Academic qualifications include a Master of Advanced Study in Sustainable Tourism and a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Development and Management, both from Arizona State University.
