Meredith Smith

Meredith Smith is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and the arts. Currently serving as a 7th Grade Literature and Composition Teacher at Chandler Preparatory Academy since July 2019, Meredith also teaches classes in the adult education program at Desert Botanical Garden, where engagement has been ongoing since March 2015. As a self-employed artist since April 2014, creative endeavors have intensified with the growing independence of two daughters. Previous teaching roles include 5th Grade at Great Hearts Academies from December 2017 to July 2019 and earlier positions at Diocese of Fort-Wayne South Bend and Teach For America. Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Certificate in Secondary Education from Arizona State University and Rio Salado College, respectively, along with a Master of Arts in Classical Liberal Education and Leadership from Arizona State University, completed in May 2023.
