Ole Kristian Sivertsen

Ole Kristian Sivertsen is the current President & Group CEO at Desert Control. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President at Global Eagle from April 2016 to August 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the company's growth and transformation executive, as well as digital services, content, and connectivity.

Under Ole's leadership, Global Eagle reversed a declining business and built consistency across acquisitions. Ole also successfully merged five business cultures into one of "People First - Customer Always". Additionally, they reduced customer churn by 60%+ by restructuring the organization and driving a relentless focus on making every customer a reference.

Ole has also been successful in sales leadership, achieving 20% year over year growth. Ole has also successfully turned around the yacht business and launched PRIVA, a luxury brand for VVIP clients, HNWIs and Royal Families. Ole has also secured 100% renewal of strategic major accounts.

In addition to their success with sales, Ole has also been successful in employee engagement, transforming employee engagement from an all-time low to an all-time high. Ole has also executed integration and synergistic optimization of 5 distinct acquisitions.

Ole has been recognized for their consistently growing contribution to the company, and was selected to lead the remaining maritime verticals less than 12 months after being hired.
