Lynn Garland

Lynn Garland has extensive experience in both law enforcement and training within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as a Training and Development Specialist in OD HR at Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment since February 2010, Lynn also holds the position of Surveillance Lead Officer, overseeing security operations through advanced monitoring systems. Previously, from April 1989 to May 2009, Lynn worked as a Detective at the St. Joseph Police Department, specializing in persons and property crimes, crime scene investigations, evidence collection, and death investigations. Lynn's educational background includes attendance at Lamar University from 1979 to 1980 and completion of studies at Vidor High School from 1977 to 1979.
