Matthew Roizin-Prior is an accomplished aerospace and mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Thomas J. Watson Fellow at the Watson Foundation, Matthew engages in independent exploration outside the United States. Previously, at Marotta Controls, Matthew held dual roles as Aerospace Design Engineer II and Aerospace Production Engineer II, leading the development and qualification of fluid controllers for space applications. Significant projects include designing a PID-controlled heating element for aerogel window production, founding the Entrepreneurs Of the Nott (EON) club to promote design thinking, and serving as President of the Union College Robotics Club. Matthew's early roles include a Data Analyst position and a Mechanical Engineering Intern, during which valuable skills in data analysis and CAD were developed. Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College and has engaged in notable projects, including a prototype catalytic converter and aerogel fabrication for NASA.
