Shel Kimen is a founder, consultant, and advisor with extensive experience in Human Centered Design spanning over 25 years. Currently serving as Founder and Consultant, Shel utilizes strategic critical thinking, mindfulness, and evidence-based psychology to foster environments of belonging and positivity. Notable past positions include Managing Co-Director of Design Thinking & Culture at Ford Motor Company, where programming was created for over 20,000 employees, leading to significant efficiency improvements and innovations. Shel has also contributed as an Advisory Board Member for the Design Management Institute, as well as a strategic advisor for Seafoam Palace of Arts & Amusements. With a solid educational background in Human Environment and Design and Economic Theory from Michigan State University and The New School, respectively, Shel has consistently leveraged expertise in design, strategy, and research to advance organizational goals and cultivate creative cultures.
