Betsy Corcoran

Betsy (Elizabeth) Corcoran is an accomplished leader in education and media, currently serving as a Board Member for Design Tech High School and Project Ollie, alongside their role as Co-Founder and Partner at Lede Labs. With extensive experience in the educational sector, Betsy Co-Founded and led EdSurge as its CEO from 2011 to 2020, fostering dialogue around educational technology. Betsy's previous roles include Executive Editor at Forbes and Staff Writer at The Washington Post, as well as editing positions at Scientific American and IEEE Spectrum magazine. Betsy holds a BA in Economics/Math from Georgetown University and is a recipient of a Fellowship from the Knight Science Journalism Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
