István Sárhegyi currently serves as Acting CEO at 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Plc., and has held multiple leadership roles including Chief of Staff to the Chairman and SpaceTech Advisor at 4iG Nyrt. Since February 2021, István has actively contributed to the telecommunications and IT sector in Hungary and the Western Balkans. Additional roles include Chairman of the Board at Remred, Member of the Board of Directors at Rotors & Cams and AMOS-Spacecom, and Member of the Management Board at Hungaro DigiTel Kft. At CarpathiaSat Ltd., István is a Co-Founder and Vice-Chairman, and has served as Managing Partner at Herius Capital - Space Fund. Academic contributions include lecturing on International Space Law & Policy at the University of Pécs. István Sárhegyi holds a Bachelor's degree from Corvinus University of Budapest and a Master's degree from Eötvös Loránd University, along with a certificate from the International Space University.
