Sarah Konradi has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Sarah currently serves as the Executive Director of the Design Workshop Foundation, a role they began in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the National Wildlife Federation as the Director of Design and Engagement from April 2017 to April 2022. In this position, Sarah collaborated with communities to design outdoor play spaces and led program implementation, evaluation, and fundraising efforts. Before joining the National Wildlife Federation, Sarah worked at the Natural Learning Initiative, NC State University as a Senior Design and Research Associate from December 2010 to April 2017. Here, they focused on designing landscapes for play and learning and provided technical assistance and training in design principles. Sarah's early career involved serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University from December 2010 to May 2011.
Sarah Konradi earned a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from North Carolina State University between 2008 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree from Savannah College of Art and Design from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, in April 2017, they received certification as a Colorado Licensed Landscape Architect from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
