Jay Gopal is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kyron Medical since July 2024, leading the development of AI-driven solutions to address physician burnout, with a focus on automating medical billing. Concurrently, Jay serves as a Research Assistant at Brown University and Stanford University School of Medicine, focusing on deep learning applications for complex medical issues and emotion extraction from patient videos, respectively. Jay co-leads Design X Health, fostering collaboration among students from various institutions to tackle healthcare challenges. Additional internships, including experience at Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group and Pregmune, enhance expertise in artificial intelligence applications in healthcare. Jay holds a Doctor of Medicine from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a Bachelor of Science in Computational Neuroscience from Brown University.
