Kim McClure has a diverse work experience in the field of strategy, branding, content management, and editing. Kim started their career as a Features Editor at Woman & Home Magazines in 2012, and later worked as a Lifestyle Editor at Caxton in 2013. In 2015, they became a Senior Copywriter and Content Creator at G&G Digital, where they eventually became the Head of Content in 2016. In 2017, they joined Platform 5 as a Digital Content Manager and then moved on to become a Brand Language Creative at Design Bridge and Partners in 2018. Kim progressed to the role of Creative Strategist and then Senior Brand Strategist at the same company before finally becoming the Strategy Director in 2024.
Kim McClure obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters and Legal Theory from Rhodes University in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Matric Exemption at St Mary's DSG from 2000 to 2007. Additionally, Kim has obtained additional certifications, including a Diploma in Copy Editing from the University of Cape Town in 2015 and a Red&Yellow Digital Copywriting Course from Red & Yellow School in 2016.
